Update on Woodridge Forest After Hurricane Harvey

As a community located in North Houston, Woodridge Forest was very fortunate not to have seen any extensive flooding as a result of Hurricane Harvey in late August. Builders reported no water in model homes or inventory homes, and the initial assessment of the community showed no water entering residents' homes. Model homes in Woodridge Forest are fully open following the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. While we are fortunate enough to have business as usual in Woodridge Forest, our thoughts are with the many people in Texas, and other affected communities in Florida, who are working to recover and repair homes and businesses. There is still much work to be done. Strong communities are based on mutual assistance and caring for your fellow neighbor. While Woodridge Forest was lucky, others were not. We encourage all those who are willing and able to assist their fellow Houstonians in recovering from the natural disaster. A list of local and national organizations seeking volunteers and collecting donations of money and goods to help victims of Harvey can be found here.
