Woodridge Forest is poised to become even more attractive to homebuyers interested in the Kingwood area with the opening of a new trail connection to the Kingwood Services Association.
The grand opening will take place during the Woodridge Forest Woodstock Fest from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, at the community center located at 22525 Soaring Woods Lane in Porter.
The new trail will connect to more than 75 miles of trail manage by the Kingwood Service Association (KSA), a non-profit corporation that provides for community, civic, and social welfare of the Kingwood area and promotes the health and welfare of the Kingwood area residents.
Residents of Woodridge Forest are automatically members of KSA, which grants access to neighborhood amenities throughout the Kingwood area, such as 17 neighboring community pool facilities, tennis courts, basketball courts, a disc golf course, q boat ramp, fishing ponds, picnic areas, playgrounds, a sand volleyball court, and more.
As part of grand opening events for the new trail, Woodridge Forest Woodstock Fest will feature live music by Jaime Casco and shopping by more than 35 local vendors. Attendees also can purchase craft brew from Spindletap brewery and sweet and savory treats from food vendors. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the New Caney ISD Education Foundation. The first 50 people to arrive will receive a complimentary Woodridge Forest sports chair. For more details about Woodstock Fest, visit our Events page.
