Woodridge Forest to Celebrate KSA Trail Grand Opening

Woodridge Forest is poised to become even more attractive to homebuyers interested in the Kingwood area with the opening of a new trail connection to the Kingwood Services Association. The grand opening will take place during the Woodridge Forest Woodstock Fest from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, at the community center located at 22525 Soaring Woods Lane in Porter. The new trail will connect to more than 75 miles of trail manage by the Kingwood Service Association (KSA), a non-profit corporation that provides for community, civic, and social welfare of the Kingwood area and promotes the health and welfare of the Kingwood area residents. Residents of Woodridge Forest are automatically members of KSA, which grants access to neighborhood amenities throughout the Kingwood area, such as 17 neighboring community pool facilities, tennis courts, basketball courts, a disc golf course, q boat ramp, fishing ponds, picnic areas, playgrounds, a sand volleyball court, and more. As part of grand opening events for the new trail, Woodridge Forest Woodstock Fest will feature live music by Jaime Casco and shopping by more than 35 local vendors. Attendees also can purchase craft brew from Spindletap brewery and sweet and savory treats from food vendors. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the New Caney ISD Education Foundation. Woodridge Forest Woodstock Fest is just one of the events happening during the Life in Bloom Spring Home Tour from April 21 to May 20 at Woodridge Forest. The home tour offers buyers an opportunity to explore six well-appointed model homes, as well as the generous slate of amenities found within the Kingwood-area master-planned community. "Visitors to Woodridge Forest are going to find everything they want in a new home located in one of Houston's best-known communities," said Harry Masterson, founding principal of Concourse Development, developer of Woodridge Forest. "Our family of builders is not only showcasing their incredible range of home designs and hot interior design trends, they are also offering limited-time incentives for new home buyers." Chesmar Homes will be offering $5,000 toward closing costs on the purchase of a move-in ready home, or $7,000 toward design options on a new build home. Gehan Homes will be offering $5,000 toward closing costs on all homes. Saratoga Homes will offer buyers $5,000 toward closing costs plus $7,000 in upgrades on select homes. Westin Homes will offer up to $10,000 off the purchase price of all homes. Models will be open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. Admission is free.
